Named for the wattle
Every spring, the Golden Wattle brings a sweep of brilliant colour to the land surrounding our vineyards. Flourishing beneath the South Australian sun, it is hardy, resilient and unmistakably Australian.
Its bright golden flowers return year after year, thriving across a landscape shaped by warm days, ancient soils and wide-open skies. For us, the Wattle represents optimism, strength and a natural sense of place.
That same spirit runs through our wines. Sourced from selected vineyards across South Australia, Wattleford is made in a generous, full-flavoured Australian style - rich in fruit, smooth in texture and beautifully balanced.
From crisp Pinot Grigio and softly textured Chardonnay to smooth Red Blend and expressive Shiraz, each wine has its own character, yet each is unmistakably Wattleford.
PATIENCE IS THE KEY
Good wines start in the vineyard. It takes time and patience for the grapes to reach optimal ripeness, so we wait - sometimes into the final weeks of summer until the flavours of the berries are beautifully concentrated. It takes longer, but the results are worth it.
